Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important factor that can motivate employees to work more optimally so that it has an impact on increasing work effectiveness. Factors that influence job satisfaction include the work environment, relationships between co-workers, reward systems and leadership implemented in the organization. With job satisfaction, employees can work more effectively and efficiently, and are able to achieve optimal work performance. The problem that occurs at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Mulya OKU Timur is the extent of the influence of job satisfaction on employee work effectiveness and how job satisfaction can increase their work effectiveness. This research aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction on increasing employee work effectiveness at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Mulya OKU Timur. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to employees of SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Mulya OKU Timur, observations, interview and documentation. The research results show that there is a moderate relationship between job satisfaction and employee work effectiveness. The higher the level of job satisfaction felt by employees, the higher the work effectiveness achieved. Factors such as leadership support, a conducive work environment, and rewards for performance have been proven to play a role in increasing employee work effectiveness. Thus, this research concludes that job satisfaction has a positive influence on employee work effectiveness at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Mulya OKU Timur. Therefore, school management is advised to continue to improve factors that can increase employee job satisfaction so that work effectiveness is maintained and increased.
