Abstrak
The main problem faced is low employee performance caused by a lack of motivation from the leadership. It was found that motivation had not been fully implemented properly, which resulted in a lot of work not being completed on time and employee performance being less effective at the Pasar Martapura Village Office, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research aims to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance in the hope of improving their performance. Data collection methods used include literature study, observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of the analysis show that there is a very strong relationship between motivation and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.867. The percentage of influence of motivation on employee performance reached 75.17%, while 24.83% was influenced by other factors. With a confidence level of 95%, the t test results show that the calculated t (4.920) is greater than the t table (1.860), so the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that leadership motivation has a big influence on improving employee performance. The advice given is that leaders must actively provide an understanding of good work methods to achieve quality results, so that employees can carry out their responsibilities well.
