Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of placement on employee performance at the Setia Makmur Tulung Harapan Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Village Unit Cooperative (KUD). Appropriate placement can improve employee performance and can contribute to the operational effectiveness of the cooperative. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to KUD Setia Makmur employees, observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the correlation coefficient analysis, there is a positive and significant influence between employee placement and performance, with a correlation value or r = 0.60 which has been consulted with conservative standards, it is located between 0.60 - 0.799, which means it is classified as a strong correlation or influence between placement on employee performance at KUD Setia Makmur Tulung Harapan Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. This research was conducted on 10 respondents and after conducting a hypothesis test it was found that t = 2.82, thus the proposed hypothesis was accepted. In this case, it indicates that placements that match employee competencies and potential can increase productivity and work quality. It is hoped that this research can provide recommendations for the management of KUD Setia Makmur in placing employees more effectively to achieve organizational goals.
