Abstrak
Cooperatives are economic organizations owned and operated by people for the common good. Employee duties are closely related to the improvement of human resources, therefore efforts are needed to improve the quality of employees to become professional workers. The problem faced by the Anugerah Kito Makmur Jaya (AKMJ) OKU Timur Cooperative is how important the provision of Compensation is in improving employee performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the Importance of Compensation in Improving Employee Performance at the Anugerah Kito Makmur Jaya (AKMJ) OKU Timur Cooperative. The hypothesis proposed is that Compensation has a strong influence in improving the performance of Employees of the Anugerah Kito Makmur Jaya (AKMJ) OKU Timur Cooperative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires as well as literature studies. From the calculation results obtained r = 0.719, after consulting with conservative standards, then to determine the closeness or strength of the influence it turns out that r = 0.719 lies between 0.600–0.799, so it includes a strong correlation. So it can be said that there is a strong influence between the provision of compensation on the performance of employees of the Anugerah Kito Makmur Jaya Cooperative (AKMJ) East OKU.
